Self catering holiday cottage in the picturesque village of Bishop Monkton, between Ripon and Harrogate, converted from a loft and stables and completed in May 2008. In a quiet location on a farm behind Orchard House in the centre of the village.

Two bedrooms each have two zip and link 3’ beds which can be made up to guests’ requirements. Also upstairs is a bathroom with washbasin and toilet.

Downstairs there is a spacious open-plan living area with a hi-fi, television and DVD and a double sized sofa bed to sleep extra guest(s). The dining area has a table to seat 6 and opens onto a cobbled courtyard through patio doors. The fully fitted kitchen has a sink unit, fan oven with ceramic hob, fridge/freezer and microwave.

Also downstairs is a utility room with washing machine, dishwasher and sink unit and a walk-in wet room with shower, washbasin and toilet.

The cottage has a natural stone floor downstairs with underfloor heating.

Outside is a paved patio area with table, chairs and BBQ.

Bishop Monkton (website www.bishopmonktontoday.ik.com) has a village shop and two public houses and is ideally located for walking, cycling, sightseeing and visitor attractions being 3 miles from Ripon and 11 miles from Harrogate.
